Much awaited 68 Annual Conference of Association of Surgeons of India to be held in Ludhiana from  25th - 30th December 2008, is making steady progress.

The great honour has been bestowed upon us to be the host of this prestigious conference which is going to be a landmark, in the celebration of 70 years of ASI, is being held in the northern region, after a gap of 40 yrs. It is a matter of pride for us to be at the forefront of academics and excellence and have a bend of both hospitality and pleasure.

This mega event will be a platform to learn the jet set technology in the surgical field and interact with stalwarts and doyens of surgery to update & keep abreast with the fast moving techno-world of surgery.

Ludhiana City, the Manchester of India, is famous for its hosiery goods and bicycle parts in the world. The Hero Cycles , Hero Honda, Trident group, Bharti Mittal & Oswals are the integral and the motivating factors in the city.

The venue of this conference, PAU Ludhiana, is known for its outstanding contribution to the green revolution in the country having to its credit great international achievements in the scientific field of a different genre.
